The yachtsmen of St. Petersburg came up with an excellent event. Races on Wednesdays are for everyone. Yes, just like that, if you want to chase, come and chase. No entry fees, routine with applications, registrations, measurements, and other routine.
Every Wednesday evening, after work, the yachts sail to the waters of the Neva Bay for the start of training races. Everything is as it should be: signs, a judicial vessel, pre-launch procedures, flags, signals, protests. And of course - competitive excitement. The start of the first race is usually at 19:30 in the area of the gate signs of the sea passenger port.
The entire fleet is divided into two groups: L6 class yachts and free class yachts.
I also participated in the races on my yacht this year. Despite the fact that I got involved with yachts of greater length and sail, sometimes I managed to come not last :-)
And sometimes I just photographed this beauty.
