For 12 years now, the event has been the hallmark of the city, a big event that brings together manufacturers and sellers of water-powered vehicles, related products, sports, leisure goods and companies offering services in the field of yachting.
In 2021, the event brought together boats and yachts up to 70 feet from Russian and foreign shipyards.
The headliners at the marine exposition were the yachts Sunseeker and Princess.
This year at the exhibition of boats and yachts there were two Premium class yachts at once – new models from the world's leading manufacturers.
On May 21, the exhibition began with a business program: the New Generation Club of Entrepreneurs met with Sergey Fomenkov as part of the Boat Show.
The grand opening took place on May 22, and the guests of honor were Konstantin Shestakov, Acting Head of the Vladivostok Administration, Mikhail Ermakov, President of the Primorsky Krai Sailing Federation, Kirill Gribov, Territorial Director for the Far East at Otkritie Bank, and Igor Rumyantsev, Territorial Director of the Freedom Finance investment company. After that, the Sailors' Cup regattas, the children's regatta Our Hopes, and the VBS Cup started.
Meanwhile, the main site hosted traditional test drives of water-powered vehicles, equipment, and equipment from participating companies, a series of regattas, contests, and sweepstakes from exhibition partners. Visitors could get acquainted with outdoor equipment, special equipment for ships, services and goods of the premium segment.
The demonstration of the operation of the remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicle "Tadpole" from the SMT company aroused great interest among the Vladivostok Boat Show visitors
A show program was prepared for the exhibition: dynamic and spectacular performances by the Active Life hydroflying team (Khabarovsk) on flyboards. Traditionally, the Vladivostok Boat Show hosted celebrations for children. Performances from the children's center "Visiting THE GINGERBREAD" took place on the playground: characters from favorite cartoons, photo shoots, soap bubble shows, aquagrim, contests and gifts.
The yachtsmen also prepared an educational program for the younger visitors. The children were introduced to the yacht's equipment, taught to read maps and knit sea knots. As a result of the prize draw, the lucky ones received certificates for yachting classes.
The exhibition finished its work on Sunday, May 23. On the occasion of the completion of the work, a salsa party was held on the site in front of the main stage of the exhibition.
Vladivostok Boat Show is a status event in the life of the city, which annually opens the yachting season in the Far East. Over the past nine years, the event has become the hallmark of Vladivostok.
